Every day, The Living City Foundation (LCF) supports the hands-on conservation work of Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA).
TRCA works in the backyards of the greater Toronto area. They plant trees, educate kids, green businesses, band birds, rescue wildlife, build wetlands, do archeological surveys, clean water, champion renewable energy and so much more.
When LCF decided to join the many organizations which offer special symbolic gifts for the holiday season, it was clear that our gifts could be unique.
Unique because, like TRCA’s work, they aren’t symbolic at all. THEY ARE REAL!!
We will band a real bird. We will build and locate a home for a bird family. We will plant a tree.
And we will do this is your name or in the name of someone you wish.
